Wests Tigers

How does a club that in 12 months loses its most talented players and is forced to pick up rejects and has -been's put up these performances? Nothing spanky, nothing shiny but just gritty and fighting.

Is Cleary that good?

  • Mate, I'm loving watching the Tigers this year. Energy, enthusiasm, skill, simple gameplan. I hope they go deep into the finals.

    Hat's off to Ivan Cleary.

    • I had them as favorites for the spoon. I'll be chearing for them too. Hope they go deep into the finals also.

    • I always thought Cleary was a top line coach
  • It's amazing what a good coach can do, working hard for each other with a tough pack that goes forward and does their job.

The total opposite of our club.

  • Cleary is a good no nonsense coach unlike the rabble at the Eels! Some of the Tigers so called talented players that left aren’t going that well.

  • They have signed good tough forwards in the likes of Packer and Matulino

not the soft cock wankers Parra's pack is expect for Nathan Brown

  • Matulino ran for 110m in 15 minutes
  • BA turned us into a rabble with small soft forwards.

He blames possession rates and fatigue for players not having a go.

    Fark off tomorrow

    • Cleary is a talented coach . I’ll be cheering for them too now :-((

  • Yeah he is but many here thought him a fool for kicking Moses off the bus and keeping brooks instead...seems Brooks is doing just fine now. Nice and simple with the players hearts in it, backing each other up as a unit... not too dissimilar to us last year really. Evan with an old so called has been like benji ( as stated by experts here) just shows when your heart is on the same bus as ones old body I guess.
Moses was an emotional wreck and had to leave for his welfare (rember that) with a good bloke like Ivan in charge too boot...anyhow past history. Dare say it’s a huuuge part of Moses problem their success and our failure esp after his comments on exit.
