Michael Maguire set to wield the axe against Parramatta, dropping four players for the Easter Monday clash; Luke Brooks, Ken Maumalo, Oliver Gildart and Jacob Liddle are expected to receive the axe.
Could backfire on us as means players are on alert ready to prove their worth or could make the game easier, very dangerous

This game in my opinion is a danger game for the Eels. McGuire is at risk of losing his job unless his team starts winning. Eels high favourites to win, Eels without Paulo, and winger. Could be recipe for an upset
Hastings for Brooks. Poor retention Brooks doesn't offer enough. In the bottom 4 halfbacks
This game we should win easily, shit players and poor back up players, no depth. Go the eels 20 plus or more
As we saw against the titans last week. There are no easy games in the NRL if you are not prepared to play at your best. Also have to consider the ref factor. Who knows what the interpritation of the rules are this week.
Would've preferred it if they didn't axe brooks.
Liddle is shit too
I will be shocked if we don't flog the tigers even if we don't get out of 2nd gear.
I said it on another post, we have to grind the first 20mins, play normally, male metres kick to corners keep them in red zone, very simple footy, don't show off.
Get a couple of tries then run away with it, they will come out hammer and tong firing weather that storm then quality will prevail
Realistically we should end Madges career if we are the new mentally tough team we seem to be. Guys like Moses , Brown and Gutherson should have a feild day. Note I said " should" . Let's picture what Slater , Cronk and Smith would've done coming up against this team of bludgers. Let's hope our guys can put on a similar show.
Hopefully the consistency is there and we don't complacent!
Tigers always manage to put points up against us during the Easter Monday games..
Also I'll be working at that game.
