I've spent Easter watching old Eels games & in 2006 v Knights the commentators actually complained how players were staying down so the video ref would review & give a penalty, & that it should be stamped out.... 13 years on players still doing it & NRL continues playing blind monkey!
Yeah he milked it and the ref should have sent off matterson for the high shot too. But we won so I guess that means we can't complain. It'd be nice if they got things right though.
