West Tigers 2010

I personlly reakon the Tigers are going to be the team to watch in 2010. They'll be stronger for sure in 2010, however some of those players are no longer with the Tigers. Head (Dragons); Collis (Sharks); I'm fairly sure Skandalis isn't going to go around in 2010 again, however I'm not certain here.

Tuqiri possibly to be added to that lineup as well.

Tigers and Souths will be the big improvers in 2010.

  sorry bud, forgot all about that, so ill say either tuquri or ayshford will be starting fullback the other in the cenrtes and moltzen to half

no i disagree. they dont have any real leaders in there side, benji marshall is hardly a insprirational leader, and only have a few rep players i think they may barely scrape into the 8. Besides parramatta i think the rabbitohs are gonna be the team to watch with there devastating forward pack.

They will have Blake Ayshford in the centres as a preference over fitzhenry. They also have a high opinion of Beu Ryan who nmay start on the wing over Tupou.

Also I think they have pretty much signed Lote Tuquri and he will start at fullback. Pretty sure Skandalis retired.

Dude I agree with you and I posted a blog about it about two months ago.

One of the responses I got was that they don't have enough depth which is crap. They have two sets of nrl quality backs and a lot of forward depth.

They have also got some useful back up in the halves there now.

I think they will challenge for the title.

Really, these are silly threads! As we've seen over the last few seasons in the NRL, ALL teams are strong and ANY team can beat any other on the day. The difference between last and first is smaller than ever!

Yes, the Tigers are strong - and despite what some folks think, the fact that Sheens is coach makes them a potential Premiership winner. Souths are strong too, but lets face it - with a bit of luck with injury and some early season form, the Sharks and Raiders could be top 4 candidates so I see little point in speculating who'll be where!!

Of course, if you have some serious 'inside information' that TAB Sportsbet doesn't yet know about, feel free to share ;-)

I thought skando retired,paine went to the dogs,collis went to the sharks,and head was captain/coach of the dapto canaries.

They will be smarting after just missing the finals 4 years in a row but I think the fact that so many players have came to the club in 2010 might just unsettle them(i hope).

Who cares ?....... My prediction is 13th.

Sharks and the bunnies are the teams most likely to give the comp a shake but PARRA will be too good!!!

i highly doubt that they will make the eight! they have a crap coach! ( he was the best in the mid 90's ) now hes old news and outdated! ( the only reason they won 05, is Scott Prince!
another reason why they wont make the eight is Benji Marshall plays in side! he can do something amazing, yeh! but he can self destruct a side on his own and has done it time and time again! hes nothing but a poor mans Jarryd Hayne!
