Wentworthville Team List Issues

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea why Wenty continue to not name our 18-21 players in the Parra team list.

Last week Kenny, Will Smith, Gower and Pritchard all didnt play and it appears to be the same this week... while other clubs are still playing their first grade reserves.

Can anyone shed some light on this situation??

  • Gower did play. Not sure why the others didn't its pretty stupid.
  • I hope Scott and Taka shake hands with Cayless for a long time.
  • As I understand it, the 20 and 21 (ie the next ones to drop off) should be available for Wenty. The 18 and 19 aren't able to play since they are dropped off just prior to the match. It's not an ideal situation. Edwards and Smith would have been champing at the bit to play somewhere, but unfortunately they didn't get the match fitness exposure.

With Wenty now playing before the NRL side, there is no reason the 18 and 19 can't slot into Wenty. In any event, the ISP could accommodate for the extra players by having an extended bench.

  • Gower played, will smith and Kenny were 18 and 19 and there for cannot play and young Mahoney was picked over Pritchard.

    • Picked over Pritchard? Is that 100% accurate, or speculation?

  • Gower played, I heard Kaysa had a niggle and Mahoney is our next star. Will and Kenny were held back in case of very late warm up injuries.

They'll need to play in one of the teams this week though. So if they don't drop off to Wenty in the first cut, I think you can be assured they'll be playing on the bench in First grade

  • 100% no speculation mate

  • This will become less of a problem if Wenty play after the NRL side on any weekend. Best bet is to have Wenty play each Sunday

"Same, Kurupt. Whatever the outcome, Jim, Beach, Ryles and the club stood united and stood their ground when they were meant to roll over for the Storm and PLV, discreetly. Moses SC has also been brilliant."
