colin hussy : I concede, that is a win for BA! His first win of the year. But you can`t claim that can you. BA does not coach the Wenty squad according to the apologists. Poor Brad, he can`t win when he does win! Talk about being Arthur or Martha!
Sneaky Pete: Your right ,everyone make mistakes. But that one takes the cake for this weekend. Think of us other fans. Here we are all clinging over the cliff by our finger nails begging for one atom of success and were told Wenty went down again! After watching them last week, I said so what? on reading your news. But there is always a silver lining--or so they say, I have not seen too many in my time--Wenty won!! As Colin Hussy expostulated-- Yeehaa! My thoughts go out to Blacktown. What were they doing to be beaten by Wenty? There should be an investigation into that! I only hope their coach does not apply for Brad Arthur`s job!
Robert Lloyd I really feel for you that you have become probably more upset at the fact that a team associated with the eels as a feeder club could have the audacity to have won a game against a team that actually has a fair sprinkling of eels rejects, or perhaps just the fact that they won anyway?
What makes this more meritorious is that it was achieved 3 weeks after Wenty were smashed by the same team 46-0.
Wenty winning however is no great strokes but it is a start I guess
John EeL I have not seen that each week that Wenty fails it was attributed to Brad Arthur. I thought that I initiated that just last week when a blogger asserted that BA coached the NRL+ Wenty squad. I am prepared to be corrected on that. The turn around in form is intriguing. Is there betting allowed on that reserve grade competition?
