I suppose it's good to promote the game, but it does make me think it's all just about tv.... advertising, ratings etc. Making money. Good to promote the game in England though - hopefully help it grow, where soccer is s popular.
A return flight to London can be quite draining, so how about the teams and their Round 2 game? It takes a little time to adjust after returning to Australia. I don't know how much time they would really have for training. It might stuff them up early in the season
They would have to do this as a stand alone weekend match. To give them time to fly back and start round 2 a fortnight later. So effectively Round 1 would have to go over 2 weekends.
It's an interesting concept, probably more to do with helping the Super league get more bums on seats. I think a team like Bulldogs with James Graham would be a big hit. I would prefer to see teams tour like they used too in the off season.
Absolutely - Bunnies are perfect the Burgess Brothers, Dragons have Widdop, but I bet Graham would be a hit!
