In 99 we lost to Melbourne in the preliminary final it's 21 years and we still cant beat the fucking storm in a finals game. I don't know when this will ever change. If your a parramatta supporter, your a LOOSER SUPPORTER SIMPLE AS THAT. so sad for us.... it really is. For as long a we line up against Melbourne we will loose.

99, 06*, 07*, 09*, 17, 19, 20. Very frustrating. That must be a record for finals wins/losses against one side.
It is frustrating. However when you break it down, 99 was a choke (100%). In 06 &07 we played them in Melbourne at Olympic Park (nearly unbeatable there) and they were over the salary cap (as per 09). The eels were very competitive in the aforementioned matches. 17 was very unlucky (crucial ref decisions). 19 was a complete smashing (100%). Last night was an improved performance on last year, however it shows how far the team has to go to reach the top echelon.

They are a better team. Simple as that. They have speed, skill size and desire. We have size, a bit of skill, improving desire, but crucially, NO SPEED. Can't beat it.
