I was gutted to read that the poor little girl who Trent gallantly accompanied to her school formal, unfortunately succumbed to her cancer.I'm glad that a League player helped bring joy to a sick child,Well done to all involved. We do get a bit too overinvested in our support of our game and forget that it is only a game.

A friend of mine was the girl's school Principal and involved in organising that. A truly touching gesture from Trent. The entire community up there is deeply saddened.

Too right Tom. Trent should be proud of himself and his actions are something all young footballers should aspire to. Champion effort!
Well done to Trent and the organisers . Brought back a few sad and happy memories for me as my cousin died of Cystic and when we were kids Sterlo visited his house by suprise one day when I was there and invited him and myself to a game . It was just a reminder of how happy that made my cousin before he passed .
such sad news. Trent has done our game proud in bringing a little bit of sunshine into that little girls short life.
So sad such a beautiful girl taken so young. Only the good die young.
I really hope the last games she saw were those 3 wins in a row, especially the one against us... She would of been so proud of her team.
