Well Done Super Dud

Well the Eels were primed and pumped for this game against Panthers. Great tactical coaching by Super Dud had them Panthers really troubled. The highlight was the inclusion of Super 7 at the expense of Mitch Moses horrible concussion. As soon as Super 7 came on he stamped his expertise on the game as the Panthers scored within minutes of his inclusion. Its looking very much like a straight 2nd week exit again in 2022 for the brilliantly coached Eels and another 1 year extension of Super Dud's contract.

  • Surely a straight sets exit spells the end of BAs reign of terror

    • That would be nice but NO I don't think the Eels fans are that lucky. At least another 2 Years of this rubbish. Top 4 has more or less guaranteed BA breathing space as it was better than last year and year before

  • His inclusion was the right option as the Eels would have had no replacement for him otherwise. JA isn't an Eels problem, they were just out played tonight, simple as that.

Any team will need their full squad to beat the Panthers and the Eels won't be any different.

    • The fact that there is no other replacement for the halves has been purposely devised by Brad as to have no competition for his son.

      • Mate you hit the nail on the head. It's an absolute disgrace. There's other players who are overwhelmingly 100% better then Jake but the Super Dud ignores this for his stubborn family pride. It's foolish and will cost the team and fans

    • Yes the Eels were definitely outplayed because Super Dud doesn't know how to prepare his players mentally for finals games and he doesn't know how to exploit the Panthers weaknesses. He's not a tactical thinking coach. It's all about the collision and 1 out all the time. Ivan Cleary was all over the Eels game tonight. It's partly Jakes fault because he shouldn't even be in the side. He knows he shouldn't and so does his dad. It's just clear stubborn pride in my opinion.

    • Put up your hand if you think JA makes the 17 anywhere else in the nrl. He is an unmitigatable  disaster in defence.

      • No way would he make any other NRL side

    • Sorry mate. If Nathan Brown and Bryce Cartwright are on the bench and played longer minutes than 10 minute Makatoa, eels forwards don't tire, panthers don't get a roll on and Moses doesn't get concussed. Moses was gased from tackling his heart out and then trying to create something out of nothing. Cleary looked like a world beater cause of the space he had to work with. Eels bench last two times eels played the riff were stronger and we won lol. Sorry use to defend BA but this year no Nathan Brown and neptoism of his son has a team good enough to if not win the gf go close but look like eels will be out in straight sets again

    • If JA was up to first grade standard I would agree with you, but he's  just not.

Given the squad we have, and our style of play, we are much better served having another forward on the bench. I would love Brown, but would be fine with Carty.

"You will never see equality if you think indigenous rights are the solution. Inequality is increasing, not decreasing, especially since elites began to make their populations focus on token gestures like that."
