Well done Captain

I just wanted to give a shout-out to our captain, Nathan Cayless, who I reckon is playing as well as he ever as over the past month. He's truly been the unsung hero of our recent performances. He contributed 190 metres from 22 hitups on the weekend and not one person gave him a spot in their 3,2,1. And thats not to mention his 23 tackles as well. He is consistently getting over the advantage line at the moment and with him and Fui going at it, we've been dominating opposition packs in the early exchanges. Well done, captain!

Thats an interesting point of view, wouldnt have thought there ws another year in him after next year.

On the subject, but not likely to happen, would really like to see Mannah and Fui start so as to let Cayless come on around the 20-25 minute mark (dunno if Tim has it in him). Cayless is one of the better unloading props we have and thinking that after the softening up period he could really up the tempo on our second phase play.

  It would be nice to have an impact forward come off the bench, that said I also reckon Brod Wright deserved kudos for his game on the weekend. I gave him my one point and he made 140+ metres on the weekend and slipped a couple of brilliant offloads. However, he's never going to be the guy who gets you going forward (if he'd of re-signed with us, I'd have been tipping him to fill number 12 next year). Can't wait to have Poore in the team as well but in the meantime, I think Anderson will be pretty happy with how things are going.

I agree noknob, It is great that Cayless has finaly found some form because he has been doing nothing but wasting our salary cap up untill the last few games. He has always been a good player, hope he can lead us into the top 8. I think cayless will probably be retiring at the end of this season.And yes i also agree with 1 eyed eel i think poore will be a great asset next year.
