1)Parra to do a 4th (including pre-season trial) consecutive number on the Panthers. RCG to have a massive one. We have the momentum, they've been disrupted with Cleary out 6 weeks now.
2) Chooks in top form to knock out the Bunnies.
3) Cows and Sharks, harder to pick than a broken nose, but I'll tip the Sharks because of their home ground advantage
4) Prikey's Raiders to upset and dump the Storm. The Raiders are in top form, the Storm in free fall have lost both boiler room bouts vs the Chooks and Parra and they also lost in Melbourne to the Raiders in a couple months back.
Over to you boys!!!
Replies
1) The boys will determine who wins. They play aggressively, fast and with plenty of offloads, they win.
2) Hard one to pick. The Roosters won't be the same without Manu but should still have enough to get over the Bunnies.
3) Yep, got no real idea but am slightly leaning towards the Sharks, simply because they are at home.
4) I think the Storm will comeout strong but if Hughes is out, the Storm are out.
PFOTH,
Your predictions are bold.
I like that.
Yep could see all of these scenarios
definitely sounds plausible
Melbourne will win
Souths will be back to full strength (Cookie and Cam) and win.
Hope parra wins
Shark should win at home
I can't decide whether I'd prefer to see Souffs or Rorters gone.
1: Yes
2: Yes
3: Yes
4: Hughes plays, No Storm Win. Hughes out Prickies win
1- Parra vs Penrith ( Depends who the referee is and who coach selects for Eels team.) Close game and could go either way. Panthers will be more refreshed and home ground advantage could play the difference. Heart says Eels by 6 but head says Panthers by 2
2 - I think South's will beat the Roosters by 6 points
3 - I think Sharks will beat Cowboys with the home ground advantage being the difference
4- I think the Storm will beat the Raiders with home ground advantage and Storm to make amends for their last 2 loses
Is Cleary wearing the gold boots again?
1. Very difficult to pick. I'm really concerned the re-freshed Panthers will take away our biggest strength by having too much energy for our forwards. I'll say Parra anyway. Less go boys!
2. Bunnies. JWH has a hamstring issue, Manu won't play and Verills has a broken on knuckle. Additionally, the Roosters have been up for 2 months. They are due for a loss.
3. I'm taking Cowboys. Tommy Dearden is back. I think the Sharks have had the softest possible draw and have barely been tested. Their best performance was against the Panthers, and they lost. Talakai got injured today as well, and Cows have best defence in the competition.
4. Melbourne. Hughes will play and Melbourne will win. Like the Roosters, the Raiders have been up for the last 2 months; they have had to be or they wouldn't have made the 8. They are due for a loss and shall get it.
1. Penrith, playing them at penrith and winning is so hard doing it once a year yet alone twice. I think we will loose and make the gf and beat them there, easier to win the gf against them with out there home ground advantage
2.sharks, home ground advantage is the only reason i have them, both sharks and cowboys i feel have overachieved, sharks have played some pretty crappy teams leading to the finals, havnt looked impressive and had an easy draw for the year. cowboys have lost to all the big teams the last 2months(not including penrith reserves)
3. Roosters, simply because of there form. Injuries have tacken there toll on them and i dont think they will make past week 2.
4. Raiders, an upset is not of the cards melbourne struggle against raiders in melbourne. I feel the roosters loss ended there season, it was extremely physical and both teams i feel will face the consequence of it in the finals with injuries and fatigue.
Kicked out week 1: melbourne and rabbits
Kicked out week 2: raiders and roosters
Kicked out week 3: sharks and cowboys
Gf looser: penrith
