I reckon a change of coach, and new systems will have this side challenging for the premiership next year. The nucleus is very strong it's the style that's killing this team and it needs to change.
BA is stale as fuck and the players are showing him what they think of his outdated tactics and gameplans.
We were chasing the game at 22-6 and what did I see?
5 hitups followed by a spread on the last. That's not the players deciding on this strategy that's the coaches directions. This tactic lasted until the Roosters got up to 28-12 and then it became a case of spreading it at every opportunity, aimlessly.
Why didn't we play with more width from the start of the 2nd half to work over their forwards? Our forwards were easy pickings and canon fodder for the Roosters who just had to bunch up and use the shoulders. Under this stale coach we are seriously the dumbest team currently in the NRL. He has to go....

It's hard to know what will happen next year. In 2018 things were looking very bleak again but in 2019 we came 5th and beat Brisbane 58-0 in week one (The biggest ever finals win by any team since 1908).....then it was back to typical Parramatta the following week losing 32-0 to the Scum.
Yeah I can see BA being on his last legs then all of a sudden nabs a few good wins, gets into the 8 then we have 2-3 bad performances and he gets extended. His excuse will be he wants to bring the new kids along.
Its rinse and repeat.
I was at the game and a lot of the Parra supporters were leaving at half time.Our tactics and coaching is below an acceptable standard BA Oneill should be shown the door because we will be worse next year.Our group of supporters have been season ticket holders since 1980 however we will not be renewing our tickets for next year because we are not going to improve.

I said we would finish 10th-12th.
We lost quality players and replaced them with duds (Hopgood not included).
We have a coach who hasn't fixed our defence in the 10 long years he has been at the club.
We haven't signed anyone for next year and any of the quality players that were available have been snapped up by smarter clubs.
If we go into next year with this average squad and a defensive dud coach, we will be fighting it out for the spoon.
Even with that happening you will still have the BA bum lickers making excuses for him and saying he needs more time.
Same, we played and finished were I thought we would. This result is as I expected. And for the same reasons I think we are bottom 4 next year. If a club doesn't plan or force change, change will never happen. Simo, Russell and Sivo simply do not understand defence. Or BA doesn't. Problem is our edge and middle have folded way to easey past 6 weeks.
They need to put all our outside backs on a trailer and chuck them off at the dump, go shopping and start again.
I know the bloke has copped a hiding on this site but every game this year I've longed for Mahoney.
