I like it. We have good leapers in Lane and Blake. Plus, I think almost every team in the comp, particularly a side like the bunnies, is far less potent 10 metres out then they are 20 or 30 metres out. The defence can get off the line and snuff out the plays.
I 100% understand the logic behind it & if I was coaching against Parra I would be using it every time. But it seems Parra players don't know when to jump for the ball, it's a dead set must imo in most drop outs cause dropping it deep is basically the same as going short barring the fact you get 2 to 3 tackles more on the 10 metre line. I wouldn't stop doing it cause by rights it should be a 50/50 chance of you getting the ball back , given Sean lanes height it should even be more to his favor!
I don't mind it but we have to work on it and also vary it up, grubber it to the sideline kick it straight at anyone close to the 10 and at least play for a fumble

If you're not going to compete for the ball don't do it
Spot on Sluggo, the ironic thing is he has got the kick right, just no bastard seems to want to catch it....Lol
There's a time for it. Leading 20-0 is NOT one of those times. Gutho needs to be smarter there.
Yep, nice to have up your sleeve, but don't overplay it
It has to be a surprise play. I was screaming every time go long.
Nice Avatar Krupty, I would be careful who you are exposing it to and "screaming go long" just the same.
agree. was thinking that
