    Ohhhh.. Just what I've been saying the last half hour Mick, giving an nrl history lesson on the last 10 years or so, and how the game will be so much fairer once they've gone, so strong, so together, so sensitive to each other's nuances and with Cameron Smith as their puppet master and master manipulator of timing, of the wrestle, of refs, of forward, they should expect to win every year. It's unfair but all's fair in love and war and we should probably be thankful we've witnessed a star trio from making to retirement cos it may never happen again.

  Yep, and the team should be so proud of that. A decision or two the other way and we may have been there. We weren't, so aim up next year. I hate the Storm, but impartially, they were the best team this year.

  Trash game. Exact same thing that happened to us with Alvaro happened to them with Fensom. The footy gods have spoken.

    Haha very true, damned footy gods... thought the same as soon as it happened to both Alvaro and Fensom. Well that's the end of that then.

  Just hours after winning the 2017 Grand Final, the Storm have been found to be 1.5 million over the cap, with 6 origin players in their ranks. It's likely that they will also be stripped of this premiership..

    Yes a whole box seriously if we had one of the big 3 would we be complaining about Salary Cap they have a great team culture and hopefully it's the start of us trying to achieve that

  Yes we were. The Cowboys didn’t fire a single shot tonight. They made the cardinal sin of allowing the Storm to play exactly how they wanted. You must play some footy at the Storm. If you go one out then kick (exactly what the Cows did) then the Storm will give you a lesson.
  Ironically the way the Cowboys played us in the final is exactly how they should have played Melbourne. But they didn’t. They went into their shells, played way too conservatively and eventually got run over. It’s exactly how the Storm like to win and the Cowboys handed it to them on a silver platter without so much as a fight. Absolutely pathetic GF and a disgraceful effort by the Cowboys.
  Storm we’re handed the GF tonight.
