We need a Leader

We just dont and hav'nt had a real follow me leader in a long time. Dont get me wrong this year has been great compared to the last 2. But when times are tough, who grinds out the hard yards and is the inspiration?

  • great point Bear....honestly though mate we could have had Superman out there today and nothing would have changed. Today was a really tough lesson.

  • Yep, need someone like a Petro Civoniceva. Should be chasing Matt Scott

  • Perhaps we might need someone like Watmough in our team
  • Tepai was a leader problem is the others didn't go with him.

Besides the leaders we had last week did just fine. They just were too mentally burnt out or complacent to be bothered turning up this week.

    • Tepai a leader of drop ball he did good things but drop call when momentum was building and he is 18 dude u serious
  • Nah not really serious, but he was the only one that played with 100% pure heart out there.

Drop ball whoppdy frckn dooo!! At least he had a crack!

    • LOL macy - the one consistent thing on this site is the fact that people will pick ONE error to judge a player's entire game on.

1 missed tackle - 1 dropped ball - 1 penalty given away - it doesn't matter - that ONE error is what makes a player rubbish and to be moved on.

I am surprised Ben Smith is not being crucified for his crusher tackle and being on report.

Surely that alone is what cost us the game.

  • I said the same thing after that game. When we needed one of our forwards to stand up today, no one did. We need a hard ass forward who is prepared to really get stuck into the opposition when we need it. Watmough is that type of player. We need a player who can pull off a big hit and lay down the law. We currently don't have someone who can do that and that's why we lost today. You can blame Sandow, or Norman or Hoppa if you want, but then you'd be overlooking what happened in the middle. Our forwards were beaten by a tougher forward pack. When the going got tough no one grabbed their teammates and said "No more of this shit, we're going to beat them here."

If Kelma is dropped i will find it mind boggling
He needs to fix his defence so let's see what happens…"
