  My comment was directed at the title of the blog saying one thing when in fact the blog was just another whinge about losing Inu & Mateo pe.

   

  I have absolutely no idea regarding the politics of them leaving us and have never attempted to say I ever did.

   

  I am just so sick and tired of the constant blogs whingeing about the Eels - past & present.

    im not winging buddy im just telling it how it is.We are all able to express how we feel and since that im  blue and gold through and through its hard to hold your feelings!!!!! anyway lets not worry about the past and lets look forward to 2011!!!!GO the mighty EELS!!!!!I think its 55 sleeps to go!!!

  It's funny. Like every off season, anytime we hear good news such as we are training really hard,  or this player is in for a big year, Or Kearney is making us a tougher team. Everyone starts getting their hopes up. It really starts to snowball and by the time round 1 comes around we are all saying its our year, and we'll win the comp. This is all based on stories we hear about our offseason training.  Now after round one, depending on the result, If we win then it's all yes!!! we will win the comp for sure now! If we lose then its all the coach's fault, everyone will then be saying Kearney has never coached first grade or they will say the new players are no good or the common one, our halves are no good.

   

  Best thing to do is remain quietly confident, Don't get carried away with newspaper reports. Just get out and support the team and bare in mind this is a team that is changing and change can take time. We might not gel for a few rounds with a new playing style and new players in the team. So if we start slowly like we always do. Don't write us off. Stick by the team and enjoy the ride.
