I don't know if there was anybody breaking down the door from the lower grades in the past few years, The guys you mention are only just getting there, and it seems that BA will try them during the year at some stage. They have some work still to do in the lower grades first though.
Niukore can come in straight away imo... sharkies are circling on him and they view him as the successor of luke lewis... he couldnt do a worse job than manu mau on the weekend who has been in poor form since about round 20 last season

Not asking for his head it’s just that BA seems limited when it comes to addressing many of the current squads issues - 2nd half fades being only one of the problems.
I'm not calling for sackings in the backline. We need to leave the backline alone. We have a group of forwards and the coach needs to say to them... I need some blokes who will do the dirty work and not fold like a pack of cards, then rotate them until you have a dedicated pack that are hungry to stay there and this includes young Ray Stone and Maranta. The panthers have nothing - they are a club in crisis. The Cowboys would have killed us.

The Panthers have SOO halves and a massive pack of rep forwards. Don’t be fooled by media talk. They are a very good side and will be in the 8
