I reckon the reason we start so crap is because the team mentality is soft. Melbourne have been able to get up for the season four years in a row from the start, the image of consistency, Manly, as much as I hate to say it, too, could do that for a couple of years. Leaving things 'to the last minute' usually won't win a gf for you.

The last time we started strong and stayed strong was in the eighties. We're still not there. We need enforcer types. We don't have any. Fui maybe, but no one else. Shackleton's injury is a disaster. And Poore is a bus driver.
