Well that's the season my friends!! What a ride it has been.

I am sitting here disheartened at what could have been if we beat the Raiders, but in reality we don't deserve it, we would get knocked out in week 1 of the finals with the attitude we have.

I think losing today will benefit us in the long run as it is a lesson that needs to be learned and while we have had moments of great commitment this year, over the last 2 weeks we have shown why we have been wooden spooners 2 years in a row, we show up late in games and rarely play the full 80.

So now that we know its all said and done I would like to say I am proud of the boys this year for the good times, they have outdone their original expectations of this years wooden spooners, we have beaten top 4 sides and shown a lot of growth, our youth coming through, the progress of our combinations across the field and the rise of imo one of the futures best coaches in League in Brad Arthur.

In 2015 I believe we will make the 8 and easily, Brad Arthur is here to make continuous improvement and I think that is what he will get next year after a good off season.

Till next year I would like to thank you all for your 1eyedeel entertainment, i do not know what i would do with my time without this site.

So my question to you also is,  who was your Top 5 players of this year?

For me

1. Hayne

2. De Gois

3. Edwards

4. Gower

5. Sandow

  • Nothing against De Gois, but I would swap Semi Trailer for him and otherwise your list is good
  • How can you say we will make the 8 easily - we can't defend at all and will get hammered far too often next year again. You can't coach heart and half these bums lack the ticker to make that extra defensive effort.

    1: Hayne

    2: Radradra

3: Peats * half a season was better than most others whole year

    4: M'au * see above

    5: Sandow

The others were way to inconsistent

"Agreed. I won't renew him no matter how well he plays. He was still sketchy yesterday. He is a good impact bench player against tired edges and Moses slipping him balls. "

"Hmmm. The only in would be Moretti for me. Maybe. I'd let him maybe have more time in reggies first. I'd keep Guymer.
So basically, same team. Yes even De Belin. I want De Belin to be in the team first few rounds then things will change IMO. Him…"
