It's kind of hard to believe, but if we win against the Pennies we'll move to 17 points and it's highly probably we could be one point outside the eight again. Considering we've only one about a third of our games that's staggering.
What's becoming very clear is that the first six are likely to break away but the 7th and in particular the 8th spot is absolutely anybody's at this stage.

I'd much rather the top teams kept winning.. If they were losing, they'd be losing to teams that we're battling with for the 7 and 8 spots.
But when you look at our form -- LDBLLLW -- I think we should first be looking to win games ourselves. We won't be going anywhere without that.
You know I've supported Kearney all this season as is his right to make some running mistakes in his first season as coach, and will continue to do so for the rest of the season and into next.
But he really needs to get the positioning right in this one.If only cause I sense a general uproar from supporters on the cards if McGuire and Robson underperform. It feels like this is our last chance to get a winning run going this season so we need to get it exactly right.
Not necessarilly all it does is show that the salary cap is doing its job, even the break away top 5 atm on paper aren't much better than the average team, I would say those top 5 are more disciplined in their games which has allowed them to be more consistent in their games and snag a few more wins than the rest of us.
But I do believe that the quality of the nrl has seemed to drop over the last 2/3 seasons.
One point outside the top 8.
Is that anything like being "only" one step over the edge of the cliff?
That draw could yet prove to be our success for 2011 by ultimately putting us one point INSIDE the top 8.
SK has to be playing games saying that Robbo is back at 7.
