Given a full compliment of players, a fair run with injuries and a bit of luck, there is talent in this team to worry anybody. Intensity in defence is where we have to pick up, it has to be the full 80 minutes. The storm game this week is statement time. Let's make the other teams worry about us!

True we can worry anybody Seth . We worried the Roosters for 60 minutes . From that moment we ought to have earned respect viz a viz 2018 wooden spooners v premiers . Problem is that it has to be the right week that we can worry anybody. We need consistency.
I'm hoping thst we can hang in around the Top 4 for a few more weeks. Nathan Brown is tipped to to return in Week 14 and he will make a real difference to the team dynamic. We need to remember that players about 1/2 our team haven't played together prior to this season nd combinations are still forming. Players like Mahoney, Terepo, Kafusi, Salmon, sivo getting better each week.
Even in 2/3 losses there was some good signs.
vs the Roosters, most predicted we've lose easily if not get smashed but we went toe-to-toe for 70 mins.
vs Newie, the writing on the wall after 30 mins (20-0) was we'd lose by a cricket score but managed to fights back and even had a chance to equalise or come within 2 before Terepo spilled his lollies 10 metres out with another 2 tackles to come something like 12-15 mins from time. Would have been much closer had we not had a good try disallowed on the siren before HT.
I don't think we are a team that can challenge for the title but we sure are a team that can (and will) finish in the top 8 and scare the shit out of the big boys (Roosters, Storm, Souths, Sharks). I probably have to add the Raiders in that group as they have been sublime this year and are a team I appreciate watching (the Storm bore me with their wrestling tactics). The Dragons have a top 4 roster but we have the wood on them and have so for the last 4-5 years. When the Sharks get all their stars back they can go all the way. I've been impressed with them playing really well despite having a super-star depleted team.
Newcastle have a decent squad but when I've seen the last 2 weeks its Pearce that is back to his best and the reason they won 2 on the trot. I think they are quite dependant on him more than Ponga.
LET'S GONE PARRA1
Seth, the only shaking of things is you on your old fella. Roosters weakened, playing below par, then bang, bang pit a bunch on us. Canberra, completely overwhelmed. Newcastle, rudderless. There are signs of improvement but we are turning for the last lap whilst the best are about to touch the wall!!
We were never go from the outhouse to the penthouse in one year.

Good on you Benny for being a realist, let's just give up and accept we are not going anywhere. I'm old 'and need another win.I can also still knock the top off!
Benny. Your a nob.
I have a nickname for Benny Elias which is Braindead Benny. Your consistently negative comments and predictions about the team you profess to support, I don't know what that word means to you, make it imperative for me to declare you the new Braindead Benny.
Every second year we play good every second round. If that happened to some how land on GF day then yep we'd win.
