Even the Roosters and Knights have scored more points for. St George is last.

Semi doesn't appear to be getting the clear run to the line like he did last year inside of Takairangi.

And our new Neville Glover on the right wing can't hold onto the ball.

About time we moved Jennings to right side and swapped Takairangi inside of Semi and a new right wing, possibly Ryan Morgan or TBA.

What is the problem with our attack?

  • We hold on for 1 more second on Sunday & we are equal 1st, sitting 3rd on the ladder along side Broncos & Storm.
    • Point is, we shouldn't have been in that situation. We were a two try better side.
  • Ryan Morgan would be step in a very  wrong  direction

  • Look at who we have played... End of argument
    • Yeh but look at HOW we've played for the last two games.
Not only how we've played but semi and Jenko can't even score
  • We've played the grand final winners, runners up and a top 4 team in the doggies in the first few rounds. Give us a break, it will click, just remember we have a whole new spine and outside back partnerships
  • I agree with Gol. I think it is too early to make big changes based on for and against.
Also, I think our attack will improve with time we just need to be patient.
  • At the moment we are creating opportunities and not converting. When Norman made that break in the second half off the kick rebound where was jennings in support? Those semi half breaks. The opportunities created by Takas. They should have led to at least 2 more tries.
  • Defence is ok.

Still have a few wrinkles in attack to iron out.
Very disjointed attack at the moment, players are running the structured plays in place but then pause & hesitate when opposing defence reads the play & adjusts accordingly.

This causes our attack to panic a little cause they don't know how to play whats in front of them.

Look at Thurston, the great ones think one step ahead & already know what they're going to do if the original play shuts down.

Unfortunately for us, at the moment this is not happening which limits our options
  • It's really simple to answer this question.

Our halfback is new to the club and our plays and hasn't trained with the side apart from the captains run since the season started.

Our regular hooker is out injured also offering some disjointedness (is that a word?) to our attack.

Relax take a deep breath and remember it's round 5 and we have played some quality opposition and it doesn't get easier on Saturday with the Raiders coming to Pirtek.

I think if we can hover around the 5th - 8th for the first half of the season whilst getting combos sorted and Foran fit we give ourselves a chance in the second half of the season to make a play for a top 4 position.  Injuries permitting.
