  You're a legend Johnny hate some of this negative crap going on. No point in pointing the finger we have had a big few weeks, cowboys just come off a bye and have had a couple of losses without there star.. of course they were gonna come out to prove a point. A lop sided penalty count, costly errors, and some buggered troops.... c'mon how was Norman suppose to control that. If we landed some of those opportunities we had it could have been JT on the back foot but unfortunately we couldn't. Just part of the game. Up Parramatta

  I just don't see how one week we can show great heart and resilience and then next week we don't even get out of 1st gear and it's getting really quite frustrating

  I am picking on Norman acting as dominant half - especially his first game back.

  Norman has got much better a s a leader. But he still aint there consistently

  More impressed by Moses's ability to lead but Moses needs more weight to throw around

  A lesson for our halves if they ever want to be half as good as JT or Cronk. Watch JT pull the strings with his outside and running backs. They know exactly what he's going to do with the ball every time. YES I know we gave away penalties and gave them too many opportunities but overall it was ill discipline, played with no structure, no leaders and with the passes or lack of set plays, everyone looked like they only just played together for the first time. One can only hope the Eels aren't just running and tackling at training. There's more to a great football team than just knowing how to run and tackle.

  Agree! Norman wasn't that bad or Mitch Moses. As for Thurston, well he's just a legend in his own mind, the refs 2nd pet and the NRL's favourite son. The penalty count was at least 8-2 early in 2nd half although the stats are saying the final count was: 7-4 ( which I really doubt!) The refs were again disgraceful tonight. How many of the Cowboys tries were scored on the back of penalties? How many penalties were given to the Cowboys when they made the error? If the Hess hit on Mitch Moses wasn't ( late or high) then I don't know what is and they get a penalty from it and score a try. Yet when Scott is not late on his hit on Thurston penalty again.
  Mate, it's all rigged for the NRL, State of Origin 2 need Thurston back so hence the Cowboys thrashing of the Eels!
  How would it look if the Cowboys got thrashed by the Eels tonight for the Queensland Origin side coming into game 2 with Milford out and the Cowboys getting flogged or Thurston injured from a late hit by the Eel, so Thurston is a protected species.
