I listened to the Anthony Watmough podcast the other day where he calls Cherry-Evans a fuckwit and all that caper.  Right at the end he talks about leaving for Parramatta, but he said he never really wanted to go there and hated driving out to Parramatta for training.   He then said that around about the time he left Manly his body was one good hit from being totally wrecked.

For me that just highlights the major problems the club has with recruitment.  We signed a 31 year old who did not want to be there in the first place, he had a badly damaged body and we sign him on $500,000 plus a year for a 4 year contract.

  • It's just further proof how clueless our coach is.

  • This is exactly whe parramatta are up shit creek. Disgraceful signings
  • Bad recruitment, but we still need to buy some experience players that are leaders.
  • 15 other clubs in hysterics at this signing

Everyone knew that about Watmough as well. Coach gave him what? a 4 year deal? Thanks fuck that one hit came early.
    • Technically Seward gave him a 4 year deal that when the club wanted a 3 year deal, wasn't that the big fight as to why Seward did bad job cause he did his own things?

Regardless 3 years is still bad on its own merit

  • Shame Daniel Anderson was sacked. At least he did great on 1 year compared to the last 5.
    • Twatmough did more damage to his own reputation playing like a cat when he got here. But yeah you’d think a medical assessment would’ve revealed issues.....although not sure there’s one designed to test gutlessness, dishonesty and being a cat.
  • A 4 year contract for Watmough was always going to end in tears for the club. Beu Scott similarly.

    BA is clueless
