Does anyone else think Watmough would be suited moving out of Lock in the middle, and moving him wider on the ruck at second-row?
People are saying the reason for his bad play is he's trying to do too much, if you move him from Lock you cut the ball playing out and have him running the game he played at manly for 13 years
he played second-row in all his 286 games at manly and I think being wider would do wonders he can get back to basic playing and confidence will come back and he'll fit in quicker

Or like what you said Gower
Watmough played the last few years of his Manly tenure at lock, don't let the number fool you. Glenn Stewart, Justin Horo, Tom Symonds were manly's edge forwards. Watmough did try too much early in the season, he doesn't need to run across the field looking for the inside runner, he just needs to put his head down and do the hard work. He's essentially another prop in attack and that's what he should be trying to do.
ILL play him 2rd row I would
