Watching the GF

I'm sitting here watching the NSW Cup GF and it brings up 2 questions for me.

 

1 Why is Billy Slater, #1 cheat, commentating, is it part of his off the books keep me at a news limited club payments, that is not to mention he is about as nteresting as wheelchair soccer.

 

2 How bad must the tigger's fans feel, their great players of yesteryear all have their sons playing for other clubs, Pearce for the rooters, and Gary Jack has 2 kids, one a promising half the other looks like an OK 5/8, one goes to gAyFL the other to the mutts, even Back door Benny's kid or nephew started out with the Mighty Eels.

I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.

"Hoe, I dislike the idea that a player can be selected for Aust with only 480 club minutes on show...and not all of them good. How can he have form without playing?
Perhaps a rule that said 10 nrl games to be eligible for Aust would help everyone"

"Wiz, We definitely need to be higher up the ladder in finals footy.
Like Ricky Stuart, Ryles seems happy to show the door to a player not buying in.
Also, didn't Stuart call Hudson Young's dropping from an Origin game last year "disgraceful"? Seems…"

"What's the point of being motivated to be better by playing rep footy and then losing that motivation by spending the footy season on the sidelines injured and letting your club and teammates down? Playing for your team should be motivation enough…"
