  Yeah - good result but England didn't really deserve that scoreline, that's how it always seems to play out though, an arm wrestle for 60 minutes and then we put on 5 or 6 quick tries at the end. Its a sign of the superior fitness levels of the nrl players.

  Yeah, great result - but I thought some of the Pom talent on display was pretty good - they took it to us early & that Sam Burgess!! - What a buy Souths have got! - 20 yo & plays like a veteran. - Wish he was coming to the Eels. I have to agree, it was a real arm-wrestle until the superior Aussie fitness got the better of the Poms - good game to watch, though - (As an aside, & I know it's not league related, but I just heard that the Kiwis have now qualified for the World Cup next year in South Africa for their second time. Well done to them to come from the same qualifying group where Australia was so ripped off over the years)

  It's a shame the English didn't compete over the last 25 minutes. Up until then it was very close.
  
  Hayne saw more ball but as I watched it I wondered whether there is a place for him in an Australian team that contains Billy Slater. He really is wasted on the wing. His try was solid and his well timed run and perfect kick for the Inglis try was very good.
  
  Sam Burgess did some very good things. It will be interesting watching him play in the NRL next year.

  yeah awesome game. notice more play went to the right hand side tonoght? i think that cam smith and thurston just dont like hayne.

    Australia would have won by even more if that jealous prick Thurston had played to the left like the last 3 games, instead of switching the play back to the right whenever he could, and that chance of a kick and chase down the left side earlier....went backwards !!! what a fn joke. Hindy was awesome, Hayne really got into it after losing that contest for the high ball.

  england dropped of towards the end so they did deserve the scoreline they got.

  Of course I watched it....Last fix of Rugby League for the year...Hayne was good, Hindy was awesome, Great result!!
