Wasim Ahmed reporting to his fellow one eyed eel followers,
To all eel fans i can confirm the dyldam parramatta eels will target NSW origin backrower Anthony Watmough.I found out this information last night from james hooper who ran into in leichardt.Basically he said Brad Arthur will go hard for watmough who he believes is the missing link in parras pack.He also told me that james hasson is another target for 2015 aswell.

Good Scoop Wasim, somebody in the cupboard actually mentioned this the other day.
Im a huge watmough fan, yes he;s getting on, maybe past his absolute best, but id take him any day of the week, he would have plenty to offer our pack.
Makes sense, I heard this one mentioned as well. Choc is first class, not sure how he'd fit in with our 'no dickheads' policy though.
Who's Hasson? Is he that other young Manly forward?

Yep, Hasson is indeed the young Manly forward. Born in the UK and actually came from the Sharks and through their junior system but didn't see a future there, hence the move.

Not too bad, but he probably has to lift his work-rate across the board. With that said, his defence is solid, he doesn't miss a lot of tackles & in the minutes he played - which weren't many in some games - he didn't play too badly.
Though he can certainly lift the intensity and take his game to the next level.
i hope you are right wasim but i cant c him leaving manly but we can only dream
Looked up Hasson's profile plays SR standing 191cm & 105kg. At that height has potential to put on more weight.
hmmm, getting on a bit, can be or used to be a real d***head and is generally a bit of an animal....
BUT you cannot argue with his form and 'follow' me type play. could be good i think.
Watmough is getting on and just about playing on one leg. He might be able to pull one more season playing with pain killers, but no more. Watmough is a player on the decline, but it would make sense for him to chase 1 final pay day at the eels, as theyd be the only club desperate and stupid enough to fork it out on an ageing player in whos best days are behind him.
Yeh TD, you guys nailed it with Tony Williams, how much is he on again for his 1 run per game?
