Was today v Titans the worst loss in the clubs history?

Before you answer, I'm not taking into consideration finals footy (for example - Brian Smith days), because finals footy is against quality or better opposition. I'm also not taking into consideration the years Parra were a very ordinary side and big scores were put on them.I can't remember a worse Parra lose considering the game was at home and the opposition started the season in diabolical ways, and had only won 1 game going into this match.Maybe Parra v Manly 1988 at Parramatta Stadium 64-12?

  • You must have a short memory Slip.

    • Midnight Oil - good song. Snake, today was a complete embarrassment. No excuses.
  • The Titans have an awesome forward pack. That's where we were beaten today.

  • I agree it was bad Slip but not as bad as some of our losses under SK and RS, they were really dark.

    • Yes snake, there were some bad losses under BS and SK. But would you agree Parra weren't a better team back then. Sure, Hayne was around, but the rest of the team was disgraceful.
    • I havnt felt so low leaving the ground since those days. Problem is we have a much better roster now than we did then and the Titans team have like 3 first graders. They didn't even ambush us or play really well. They even made several massive mistakes giving us opportunities to come back. Buy t anything they could do we could worse. Brad Arthur presser has me a little concerned too. He addressed the handling and incompetence with ball. But seemed to use it as an excuse for why we got pumped. Our application and speed was shit house for the entire 80 minutes. Not the worse, but not far off. Only 2 players can hold their chin up from that game, Lussick and Wicks. Mannnah sounded little nasaly in presser, possibly a cold or flu

  • I was at that game remember 64 - 12 well. parra scored first 2 tries

    • I was going to attend that day with friends, but went to the Central Coast to see family. Sat in the car listening to the radio. Terrible loss considering Parra were defending premiers the previous season.
  • I think every lose is bad so over this

  • We've done worse. I remember a game v St George years ago. They had a reserve grade side on the park due to injuries. We turned up thinking we'd get 2 points just by turning up. We lost the unlosable game.
In future we should really put $50 on the other team when Parra are odds on favourites.
