According to the mole, Warriors are now seeking that Nuikore be released to them for next season. Don't have time to post a link, if someone else can.
May free up some cash to keep Papalii, as much as I don't want Marata gone.

Definitely expecting this and it will apply to anyone else we lose.
Of course they do, what team has ever in history signed a player 12 months out and didnt want them to cut short their current contract. Par for the course.
They've already asked and the Eels have already said no. End of story.
Won't happen. Niukore isn't on much currently and could prove pivotal in 2022. Removing him won't help the 2022 cap much at all and all the players are currently negotiating 2023 anyway
I wonder what money Nuikore would be on if he left early for the Warriors?
I'd imagine they'd have to offer him the $625k to go early.
I can assure you that anyone in their right mind would be wanting to leave early too if this was the case, asking the player to hang around on far less money for another season has the ability to upset the squad.
He can want, but he won't get. Besides, there is no suggestion that Niukore has asked to leave early
Fair point JB, if they wanted to pay us a few hundred to release him that arguably free's up say 650......the only point this would mean for us though, is there someone we haven't got for this year, who we would like to replace Nikuire with for say 650 this season.
Short answer is no, as anyone we lose will not be for this season but next. No current players available to play this season on that basis, other alternative would be a player swap with the warriors, an outstanding winger or centre or their young fullback sensation (which ain't going to happpen).
Of course we could always offer Semi a million dollar TPA and 500k cap (yes he is worth 1.5m to us). $1m TPA?? there maybe a couple or say 6 at say 150k each. Let's call them the Parramatta gallopers? Don't tell me 6 business can't get together and come up with a lazy mill. Semi could get a new house built for him and furnished for say $3m amortised at 750k a season over 4 years to finish his career at Parra. On top of this he gets 750k on the cap for the same period. ........Aland provides the land, (abc) building company, does the build, (def) does the finish and (jkl) does the furnish, throw in the Parramatta City Council with free rates for 4 years and (mno) insurance company for building and contents and (pqr) with a new car and schoolling for the kids, (sty) travel company to Fiji 6 times a years and travel vouchers and accomodation for family members up to 100k and the final killer punch a week away with Chiefy to meet the ladyboys in Pattaya. Wiz can slide 50 Baht under the curtain if Semi wanted a massage with extra's.
Imagination!
