Since Waqa Blake has moved sides, we can fnally see that he can actually defend. I have notably defended him at times when he has been criticsed harshly. However, I have to agree that he is not an attacking center and BA needs to see this now. Looking at his statistics recently, clearly Blake is capable of breaking tackles and running for plenty of meters. When Matto scored against the dogs, Blake bombed a try before it by cutting inside instead of drawing and passing to put Russel over. Blake clearly has not developed a passing game or anything that puts his winger away.
So it is time he offically moves onto the wing to improve our attacking threat. If he moves to the wing, he will be good at defusing aerial bombs or chips. He can also use his speed on linebreaks. If we our to be a premiership threat this year, I would have Sivo and Blake on my wing with Opacic and Penisini/Niukore at centers. When we our at full strength, we can afford to use Niukore at centre rather than a foward. Personally, I think Penisini is ready and would love to see him debut soon. I would believe that Blake and Opacic would be on our right edge while Penisini and Sivo would be on our left edge. I can see Jenko and Sivo 2.0.
I really wonder if BA has considered this move because what else would he do when Penisini is ready next year and Opacic and Blake are both still signed to the club.

I hope Opacic gets into the qld team so it increases the chance of a Penisini debut. Niukore will get suspended so BA won't be able to use him.
I agree with everything you said. He cannot pass to save his life. His only move is to cut back in even if we have an overlap. I think he will make a great winger and it would benefit our side.

You haven't seen enough of reserve grade briesy if you cannot see the potential in Penisini. He was given shit ball all day by the halves. When he finally got decent ball, he set up naiduiki for a try.
Other than the reserve grade games that have been televised for us all to see, have you seen any other reserve grade game this year where Penisini starred?
Good judges rate him very highly, but from what I've seen on the televised matches this year, he does not look ready to me.
In the past four weeks he's run for 769 metres, broken 19 tackles, made 5 linebreaks, scored 3 tries and missed 1 tackle from 60 attempts.

He looked pretty ordinary at the start of the year but lately he's been too good for reserve grade.
