WALLABIES BEAT ALL BLACKS 23-18

Pulsating game, our pack was brave around the break down, very committed, despite missing 3 goals we held on and were without a doubt the better team on the park tonight.

Gutsy win, not many teams get a victory over the blacks.

  • I was very impressed with the young brigade that were injected into this side and the core of old hands including Polita Nau who with Beal, Sekope and Folau played solid and brave rugby. I agree that the forwards really stuck it to the blacks for 80 minutes which you have to do to beat them.....every time! What about the leaguie Korobite, how good was he on bothe sides of the paddock. Many more I could mention as they just about all played well!

Cheika may have had his hand pushed in regards to the side he picked, but he came up roses. On'ya Cheik and the boys.

  • if this is the game they play in heaven, please send me to hell.
    • Yeah Mac, I know how you feel about the difference between our game and theirs, and I totally agree, but having briefly played the game they play on the peninsula and the eastern suburbs as well as a few private boys schools as well as THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL! I'm reminded that................

It's always nice to be happy for those less fortunate than yourself!

      Go Parra.

    • i can’t get when union fans say league is too stop and start.
that’s all rugby is to me. 5 minutes to pack a scrum that repeatly gets collapsed. each to their own i guess.

    • i found the A- league more interesting.
      Yawnion.
  • I actually sat through that shite last night.  Reason, there was f all else on. So that's what  a good game of rubbishby looks like? If that's the case,  i will take sleeping tablets in the future when there us nothing on the idiot box.  Ps. Bernard  Foley is the worst footballer ive seen in any code. How comical!  Lol

  • When you  have 2 kids under the age of 4 U will go to bed at 730 every night too.  Ive already put 100 years into my first  40. My life is still way more exciting than a game of rugby though so EAD Mack :)

      • You obviously didn't work as hard as me through the week. We do enjoy our time together afrer 730, the point is, rugby is rubbish. Thought id try and watch a game for the first time in forever and was majorly disappointed. Kind of like my feeling towards your initial antagonising shot at me. But i aint getting into no pissing contest with someone like yourself.

  • I went to a funeral last week of the 54 yo singer of "The Chosen Ones" and started talking to a fellow mourner and I remembered giving him a lift home from a football game a few years back as he lived nearby. I asked what NRL team he followed as I could not remember. He answered saying he doesn't watch that rubbish of a game and then started singing the praises of rugby saying there is no comparison. To each his own. I mentioned the Chosen Ones here as they play out west sometimes. RIP Matt.
  • Dead rubber.

If the game meant anything the Blacks would have won by 30.

I can't criticize the All Blacks though - they must be so f*cking sick of reaming the Wallabies - they are probably glad to actually lose for once.

Actually, now that I think about it, the Blacks probably decided to let one through to the keeper last night - for the good of the game :)

Based on the pre-season trials, training reports, and incumbency, I’ve settled on a top 19 that largely picks itself — particularly the starting top 13, which I think is pretty much locked in.Samrani, for mine, has done enough to be locked into a…
