What is the ruling here ?
Josh Mansour, every time he plays the ball looks to burrow his head and run into the markers..... so sick of seeing it, any wonder the Penrith hooker is killing it.
I can't believe penalties aren't being blown for this infringement.

As far as I know (rules may have changed) but it is an offence to interfere with the markers. It is a Penalty
That said Vunavalu actually pushed Jarrod Croker on his back when playing the ball in their game and nothing said.
Same as the player stepping around the marker to play the ball - Penalty
Moving off the mark, which we see on most tackles - Penalty.
Funny how refs penalise players for interfering with the player who is playing the ball, but do nothing when the same player infringes on the marker.
But hey - This is the NRL, need I say more?
Fair points Col, I did see the Vunavalu incident but I think this only occured once.
Mansour does it everytime to gain an advantage.
I wish someone would give him an uppercut !
Mushy, these are the sort of things that I have criticised an put in blogs for some time now, & a reason behind my Reflections blog. It has for me come to the point where RL if the bosses don't do somethin to fix this and either ensure that the rules are applied or change them.
I personally have had a gutful and wont be watching anything of the GF this year.
Everyone walks off the mark theee days
It's definitely a penalty. Something the opposition should be calling out during the game.
There are different NRL for different clubs and players.
My pet hate. DWZ of the bulldogs is the king of this and the Penrith winger you mention does it too.
There was a game a couple of years ago where Newcastle did it to our markers all game and it made Danny Levi look like the best hooker in the game. He ripped us apart.
I bet we'll finally teach our players this cheat move and they'll crack down on it.
