When Round 1 rolls around next season we'll all be hearing it. How it was the toughest pre-season they've ever had. For the Eels it will definitely be the longest pre-season they've ever had given they trained up until the Grand Final and they will be starting pre-season training 2 weeks early. Jarryd Hayne voiced his displeasure with the early starting time frame this morning on Twitter:
Start training 2weeks early. Wasn't the MSG I was looking for this AM. Is what it is. #eels2013

If you were on holiday would you want to be texted in the morning to say that you're expected to go in 2 weeks early?
When is 2 weeks early?
I thought they started Nov 1?
Imagine your work said we are cutting your holiday 2 weeks early, how would you feel?
If I was getting paid 550k a season and only played half a season I would be pretty keen to get back on the training paddock with my mates instead of playing fifa13 on playstation all day!
He been off 4 months ,
what does he work for COUNCIL ?
Now it will the the Longest AND Toughest pre-season EVER!!!!
I predict that by mid season you'll completely forget about this blog
Since we're posting tweets up I thought I'd post this one from Luke Kelly https://twitter.com/luke13kelly/status/261245054851633152 apparently Kelly didn't get an email saying to come into training. Maybe Stuart wants to have some pre-preseason with Hayne?
Maitua posted about it starting early too.
Maybe Kelly is on the outer, or maybe the coach knew that he was on the other side of the country.
There'd still be an email about starting training early. Surely Stuart wouldn't provide extra training sessions for some but not others
