Wade Graham / Russel Packer

Talking with my mates they are adamant that Wade Graham has a gel out clause if Flano isn’t coach. These guys are just fans they are not privileged to inside info. Does anyone know if this is correct? I’m a huge Wade Graham fan and would through everything at him to become an Eel.

secondly if the Tigers need to lose a player I hope Parra go after him. Junior and Paket would be a great fit.

  • Wade Graham would be awesome. This pack is crying out for a leader, someone who is just going to play tough and uncompromising and the fact that Graham could take the pressure of our young halves with his ability to act as a playmaker down one side would just fit us down to a tee. I'd like to see our next three recruits be just as valuable from a leadership perspective as they are from a playing perspective.

Packer has also been spoken of quite highly in that regard, as well, I guess.

    • I'd take Graham over Packer. Graham's a great defender, while also being one of the most consistent and threatening backrowers in the game. He adds another point of attack to Cronulla and I'd love to see him roaming down a side and kicking through for Bevan French. He's virtually Dean Widders with better fitness.

    • Graham hates Parra and he wouldnt go if you paid him a Million dollars.. I have personally asked him

  • Absolutely I would prefer Wade. He is my favourite non Parra player. He reminds me of Jason Smith.

    • Yes to graham & no to packer.

  • Not overly fussed on Packer but Wade Graham would be a good pick up. Although he went through a few injuries last year and it would also depend on his price.

  • Alex Twal ? Nelson Asofa Solomona ? Martin Taupau?  Any chances of them over Russell Packer. Wade Graham is too much of what we already have although I agree he has leadership ability.

Dont know could be wrong on this but I see Junior developing into our forward leader with our current pack.

  • Signing Wade Graham would have been great 3 years ago, but chances are he would spend most of his time sitting on the sideline being paid overs, all the while knocking on retirement's door.

  • Mate he is only 28. Sure he has a couple of injuries but he has 4-6 years left in him.

    • A couple of injuries??????????????????

Played 18 games last season and missed the really big ones.

I don't see Graham as anything near his best for last 1 1/2 seasons.

      Overpriced.

Russel Packer - the only thing going against him is our soft coaching staff who would not be able to keep him focused and out of trouble. Kenny Edwards 2.0.

If Twal came available I would seriously consider him.

"Yeah well he's gone and you're still blabbering on.
You can't prove the contract amount that Lomax signed on for, and it was stated he was on 800 at the dragons.  Common sense says only a fool would think he'd sign here for 650. .

"A "master stroke" and "the type of guy Jason Ryles doesn't want". Maybe Lomax is very replaceable, even to the point of being unwanted, and the club isn't at fault at all in how this has been handled."
