Volkman’s form this season has seen him establish himself as a key contributor, with the talented playmaker continuing to build confidence and consistency under Head Coach Jason Ryles.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said Volkman's re-signing was a deserved reward for his dedication and performances.
"The positive environment which Jason Ryles has created at the Club has provided some stability for Ronald where he is playing his best football of his career.
"He has earned this opportunity with some wonderful individual and team performances, and he will only continue to improve," O'Neill said.
Volkman has enjoyed an outstanding season recording 10 try assists from 17 appearances and adds further stability to the Eels' roster as the Club continues to build towards the future under Ryles' leadership.

Big money if he is to be a back-up. I see him more so being that 14 role even. I mean why not, having a good back-up in the halves is so important.
With the extended bench rules, it's more plausible to have a guy like Volkman ready to go if need be. Good deal
Agree regarding 14. Have him there while Talatina and fletcher get there reps in cup.
A good backup is what we need LB. Moses is spending more time on the bench each season as he gets older, and if Lorenzo is ready he will take some time getting up to speed in first grade. Luai only gives us 1 good year, so Volkman is good insurance in a critical position.
And I know some will say Luai won't care etc, but he gets a year to learn off Luai. Thats a nice player to watch at training. Plus both Samoan.
Didn't know Volk was Samoan thought he was a kiwi
Yay!
Give him 4 years man and give him the six in 28 make him learn off Luai
I see him as our future 7 once Mitch hangs them up
2 years is fair.
