Disagree there is a very high chance, almost certain that Peni would have scored that if he wasn't tackled without the ball . I've saw a penalty try a given month or two ago where there was less chance the attacking player could have scored.
They changed the rule for penalty tries. We went years with hardly any penalty tries as they kept saying you coulti 100% be sure he would catch ball etc. It was pure speculation so they changed to reasonable chance he would have scored.
It means no other defenders would be able to stop the try and the try line was open while player taken from behind is penalty try. Binder the new interpretation it clearly penalty try every time.

Definitely a penalty try in my opinion. He would have easily have scored if he wasn't impeded without the ball. Penisini has good ball skills and he would have grounded that ball for sure..

It was a gronky kick but they cleared him making contact with the ball about 20cm off the ground
I wondered if there was a different angle from side on that may have showed that. I don't know, I was probably too busy on our big Zoom gathering - laughing at the relies in Newcastle having a sook🤣🤣
Gutho definitely kicked the ball. In slow motion it's not always as accurate as in normal speed. He definitely touched the ball with his foot before it hit the ground.
