Very pleased to get the win!

The score may have flattered us but what a great start to the season, 4/4! Let's hope the wins continue, our front row was the difference today imo, outstanding work RCG, Junior & Reed. The only changes I would make going forward is relegate Lane from the starting side & Hipgrave from the 17. Lane disappoints me, I believe he gets lazy & is a poor defender, for a large man his first up contact is rubbish. From our bench we need impact & energy & I haven't seen that from Hipgrave.

  • They've just given BA an ironclad excuse to flog em during the week

      • BA has improved out of sight with his use of the bench although I did not agree with bringing stone on for rcg, hipgrave would have been a better choice imo, but hey, who am I.

  • Lane is a passenger

Dylan brown what to say about him. Still learning ? He should have PhD by now.
rcg was outstanding.  Gutho unusually had a bad game. Saying that. Very happy with the win

    • Couldn't agree more. Yes Brown...love the kids composure but very much work in progress. My gut feel is he will be a very special player in years to come. Bring on the drags!

    • I thought Lane was good tonight, especially in the first half. The second half he was used mostly as a decoy.
DB is 20, he's still only played 35 games.

      • I think Lane has improved every week since his shocker against Brisbane and I hope that before long he and D Brown will rebuild the great combination they had in attack in 2019.

    • Nothing wrong but I'd be looking to others who may provide more, I'm looking forward to seeing what Cartwright brings.

      • what is the fascination with cartwright???? did you watch the CC game yesterday?

First half did not much, second half started to run a bit but still didnt look like a bloke who should be demanding a spot in our match day 17 - yet.

Why is everyone obsessed with changing a winning pack - injuries aside, everyone is doing their job abd doing it well.

        • He's also a renowned terrible defender and arm grabber. I wouldn't be changing the side to bring him in. Defence is a fine tuned thing you don't want to change much once you have it working.

          • I agree, didn't see anything special from him yesterday, still grab tackles, maybe used his shoulder and went low a couple of times.

Got some offloaded happening, but nothing silky, and didn't  put anyone through  Few more games in Reggies I think.
