Vent Thread: Tell us how you feel

We're all torn up after tonights performance, I'm certain of it. Use this thread to vent, to get all the anger out of you and onto the computer screen. It'll make you feel a bit better and save you from fighting with other Eels supporters instead. We're all in the same boat.

I'll start.

That second half against Manly was the best experiences I've had in sports. The Semi Radradra try was undeniably the best moment ever. To follow that happiness with a trip to Newcastle and a heartless flogging, then to be destroyed by the lacklustre Canberra Raiders is disheartening to say the least. I've never felt this torn apart.

I'd like to take aim at some players in particular, but that's better left for the comments and probably not rational.

The future is bright Eels, we're still on the way up.

    I don't want to single out players but I can't believe how many tackles we fell off tonight. Canberra don't have the players to march 90 metres down field and score there not that good of a team. The defence was hopeless and the off season should be spent on addressing this problem.

      Interesting seeing Blake Austin is available for 2015. Really wish we weren't stuck with Norman, he'd go well with Hayne, Sandow and Peats.

    Too pissed off to really explain it. Its ruined my weekend.

    We missed the eight this year because of youth, injury, and to a lesser extent some critical refereeing decisions in a few games. We lost tonight from the same reasons. We have a talented squad that will improve vastly next year with the experience of this season. I didnt expect to make the eight this year but I do next year. We can give it a shake next year with a bit of luck. Feeling pretty empty now but the difference this year is that I'm once again a proud fan. Our boys should be congratulated on a much improved season.

    Disappointing ending to a much better season. I had a feeling mid way through the year Parra would miss the finals by 1 victory.

    I thought we were screwed when we lost Peats and Mau. We did well enough but unless we have our top 13 on board we are a no show. With 10 players out, you are going to have trouble when you are relying on a mix of under 20s and NSW Cup players to fill the void.
