Use of the Sin Bin is very Grey!

I'm not ignoring the fact that the Eels performance tonight against the Bunnies was extremely poor. However, seriously the Bunnies were not that much better. In my opinion the marked difference which shows typically on the score sheet was the ref's misuse of the 'sin bin' two Eels players put in the 'sin bin' as I write this and both forwards. It appeared to me everytime the Eels got a sniff of a possible momentum change the ref would either give the Bunnies a penalty, put an Eels player in the 'sin bin' or give the Bunnies 6 again. Yet, there were blatant high shots from the Bunnies players, blatant slowing down the play the ball, blatant lying all over Eels players and not one South's player in the 'sin bin' as I write this. The NRL us disgracefully corrupted in showing certain teams favouritism especially at home grounds or during special games. I know a lot want to see Brad Arthur gone but I honestly think the problems at the Eels go far beyond the coach but the root problem is within the NRL itself with its continued rule changes and very grey areas in using them, clear favouritism for certain teams, coaches and players.

  • Fuck the indigenous jersey off

  • I agree the ref didn't help he was one sided we got some dud calls but they are that poor tonight nothing would have saved them pretty embarrassing tonight I am a life long fan but it's 35 years since I watched them win a comp and it's looking like another year down the drain something needs to change

  • I thought the ref was poor and decisions went with South's.

saying that we are missing Brown and RCG in defence. Fergo is way past his best and Waqa needs to go too. If we had MJ and Opa as centre's we'd be much better.

Our two bins were harsh compared to south's doing similar and staying on the field.

BA needs to make changes next week. NM needs to go back to centre.

the team still switches off and we are not a premiership team because we don't have the game smarts you need to keep in the game. Look at Storm and even when they have players out they still play 80mins as a FG team.

  • Cody Walker should of been binned if Matto was binned. The crusher tackles were so fucking soft. When Sivo scored Mitchell bent his kneck. The refs were horrible. When we were coming back, and Johnston lost the ball when he went for an offload, the ref ruleld strip. IDK why we didn't challenge. We played pooor, but fuck the refs are shit. After the roosters game, is it a coincident that every calll is not going our way.

    • Yep, exactly I'm really getting fed up with refs influencing momentum of games..

  • Indigo Round. South's very indigi team location/supporters/players say no more... except of the dumb counts always coming off ther wing and unable to mark  man on man on a scrum play. When browns back we need to go back with Niakore in centres and fuck off Blake Ferguson son of a bitch

    • Exactly Slugg, no wonder nobody knows what's going on. Might as well watch scrabble over a hot bowl of mushroom soup.

  • Is Gerard Sutton a Souths supporter

    • Wouldn't surprise me
