Everyone is pretty annoyed to say the least after the loss to the dogs yesterday but this has been a general occurance in the last few weeks. Souths, Knights and Sharks have gone down to the Dogs, The Cowboys are putting the Panthers (who are playing for their lives) to the sword as we speak, the Storm lost to Manly and Raiders, Manly lost to Warriors, Souths losing every other week.
Less than half of us expected a top 8 finish. We have that. Looks like we'll get a home semi too.
Let's just enjoy the ride. It's been a good season especially after the pain and embarrasment of 2018.

Losing to the Dogs was embarrassing. The Doggies had absolutely nothing in attack to offer, but still won the game. This upset is up there with Parra beating the Broncos in 1993 to spoil the Broncos first ever game at their new home ground.
I think you're exaggerating using the term "embarrasing". Embarrasing would be to get flogged by 20-30. We lost by a try. Bombed a few, screwed up a couplemore, some poor reffing decisions against us and the loss came about. The Dogs have proved in the last 5-6 weeks they are no pushovers and their losing margins have been minimal.
We're making a storm in a tea cup carrying on bagging the team who has exceeded expectations this year. Heck, some even fancied us for a 2nd consecutive spoon.
Enjoy the ride and the team I say not long ago we had a team comprising of some of the worst NRL players to ever play the game.

I totally agree . We are doing much better than most of us realistically expected and when our end comes we should applaud coach and players and everyone involved for great efforts. Off topic Parra fan , onto the tipping comp , could you please add a win to Slugg for Cowboys which he picked and as well include for the rest of this round same as all my other selections ( I did not pick Cowboys) as Sluggs selections have somehow gone missing ? Broncos will be desperate next week against the Eels after being beaten tonight by the bunnies! The Eels job will be harder without Nathan Brown!
We've pretty much secured 6th spot. Sharks must beat in their last 3 (Warriors, Raiders and Tigers), we must lose both remaining games and they also have to beat our +/-. Outside chance.
Unless we play a very up tempo game we'll lose.
