Well he isn't on $900K to start with, he took a contract reduction after the Star City pinga issue which happened just prior to inking a new deal.
Back ended contract maybe
I wouldn't be surprised if parra back ended the contract so the figure we heard in 2016 (after drug issue) may have been the amount he was getting in his first year of that contract. Just need to look at the example of Beau Scott getting $600K for his final season.
$900,000 contract? If accurate I guess that means his deal was back-ended.
Correct me if I’m wrong but weren’t the dragons reportedly offering Norman a cool million before he signed with Parra. I would suggest the 900k is very close to the mark.
