The Gold Coast hope to re-sign the No.9 and are in talks to extend his stay another three seasons. Peats has publicly stated he wants to stay at the Titans after linking with them early last year due to salary cap problems at the Eels. Linked with a return to Parramatta, foxsports.com.au understands the Eels wouldn’t rule out bringing Peats back to the club at the right price but they won’t be able to match the money on offer from the Titans.

The Eels offer is better. Titans are the ones that can't come close to our offer. Even after signing Moses we still have a little over then a million dollars in the cap next year. We've offered Peats a 3yr deal worth 650k a season.
