  Board Member Gedial says the Eels Board has a response that will be 'illuminating' for the NRL. Hint of a fight back? I hope so.

  Totally agree givzapia well said there is something not right with this investigation.It seems the NRL is bombarding the media with more and more findings, and it seems it would like us fans to pressure the board to stand down and then this will go away. As the days roll on I would support our board to fight this in the courts because it seems they may uncover more of the truths of the investigation because things are very fishy and the NRL have stood back and watched this great club be hammered by the media as I have never seen before.

  After the preliminary findings were announced many site members lasted the NRL and claimed the Board deserved to be heard and this could not be true. Now most see the NRL had uncovered cheating. Now we are in a new round of revelations. Why do fans revert to claiming the NRL is making it all up and it can't be true? It's like invincible ignorance. Isn't it time we just stopped and realized we got unlucky with a dirty Board dumb enough not to be able to hide their indiscretions? And it isn't it thus likely the NRL interim findings included show cause notices for future year's TPA's and the Board has been unable to legitimate them, and thus we're witnessing the same leaking that prepped the ground for our previous revelation? I suspect a back story here is that NRL may have concluded our Board would continue to deceive, so they gave them room to hang rhemselves publicly, holding back some revelations so that people could watch the Board deny deny deny and then be shown directly to be lying. A good media strategy, really, if you think you're dealing with duplicitous but stupid people.
