    These idiots are incapable of independent thought. I have seen several interviewed on the run and they clearly have no idea of what they are protesting against or why they are so outraged. For me its bittersweet. I'm enjoying how pathetic they are and yet I'm disgusted by how pathetic they are.

  To be honest the "everyones a winner" syndrome has been around for 2 decades at least.

  We are breeding these kids in this country too. There are junior sporting competitions(in Sydney)that I know of where scores aren't kept,there is no top or bottom of the table.There is a school I know of where at their athletics carnival 1st,2nd and 3rd placed aren't rewarded,instead everyone gets a participation ribbon ensuring no feelings are hurt. Life's not fair and the world can be a tough place,teach your kids to face it and get on with it.

    Really interesting that you say that Wyllie I despise that line of thinking too and what was with the school system refusing to 'grade' kids years back, because it was unfair to do that. Actually it was much more fair I reckon for both ends of the spectrum and teachers even
    We even had ppl coming out and saying for awhile there that it was cruel to teach multiplication tables by rote. Well you try getting a kid of those times to work out basic maths without their brain in their hand?
    Anyway, think they realised they boobooed on that and have gone back to it.
    
    Remember reading years ago that the single most important thing you can teach your kid to help them in their lives is that " like was never meant to be easy or fair".
