Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered here today to lay to rest and remember the Unicorns which have passed away in 2015.
As you may already beware, the particular wet summer season of 2014/15 saw an above average number of rainbows grace our skies. As a result Unicorn farms went into overdrive and a record number of foals arrived in the word. And as promised by the Parramatta Board at the end of 2014, each Parra fan was issued with a voucher to claim their very own free unicorn as compensation for the pain and suffering they have endured over the last few seasons.
These foals grew fast and strong on the back of reports that this was the hardest preseason ever. But with the departure of Hayne, injuries/suspensions in the early season many of these foals went the same way as so many puppies do a few months after Christmas.
The unicorn carnage went from bad to worse with the constant media circus surrounding Parra and its highly dysfunctional political landscape. When you add in poor individual and team performances, salary cap and player contract issues - it made it a virtual unicorn killing field (the poor little buggers didn’t stand a chance).
The unicorn oblivion was completed last night when one of the most under strengthen Parra teams in recent memory donned the Blue &Gold, trotted out on the paddock and were thoroughly beaten by genuine wooden spoon contenders.
So as I send my unicorn Gary to the knackers yard – take a moment to think of your own departed unicorn and the fun memories you had with them. Feel free to leave a testimonial below of how they made you feel and the moment you realised they were dead.
Take heart though as Foran the rainbow maker is coming. From what I hear his rainbows shine the brightest and unicorn farmers have predicted an even bigger crop of foals for 2016. I look forward to getting my voucher for 2016.

chopped up the last bit of unicorn last night. Man it went down badly and gave me heartburn. Having TD and Fong making negative comment are negative comment didn't help.
I wish it was 2016 and will be riding high on my unicorn, while Fong and TD are tag teaming each other as to who wears the gimp mask.
Unfortunately EE I suspect that it will be unicorn killing season next year as well. I have lost complete faith in BA & DA.

Hahaha great blog mate, the unicorns are very thin on the ground these days, they will surely be an extinct species if we dont make the 8 next year.
