With Lussick heading to SL, Tyson Smoothy could be an opportune pickup for a depth rake.  Did some good things at the Storm when Smith and Grant were unavailable.  Hope he's under consideration by the club.

  • He'd go alright has potential. Would be a decent backup, but I think Parra is keen on Rein.

  • Shonig be a great pick up , saw him play a few and had aggression / no nonsense but hope this could be Wirremu and Rodwell next yr.

Smoothy was good, got flustered a fair few times and stuffed the plays from what I saw. Put it down to pressure n nerves I guess but he is goods.

    Good support for Reed

  • I'd prefer Smoothy from the tv show Happy!https://media.gettyimages.com/photos/resurrection-episode-210-pictured-chris-meloni-as-nick-sax-patrick-picture-id1146895010?s=612x612

  • I thought he signed with titans.

    • They signed Booth not Smoothy .  The Titans have one hell of a crop coming through .

      • Oh thats right. I would prefer Rein over either two.

        • I think we need rein and the smooth tbh.

          • Depends on Roache's fitness

            • There is a 26 year old captaining Wynnum Manly in this weekends grand final named Berrell, played 20's for Australia and hung around the Broncs etc. he is a 9 who can play 6, saw him last week in the semi's ....he can play! very Strong and assured.

Story in the Courier mail this morning questioning why there is seemingly no NRL interest, can any of my two headed friends in Brisbane give me further insight on this bloke?

Saw him for the first time last week in the major semi.

              Postscript!

Wynnum Manly rake Berrell a top performer in 2021

Wynnum Manly Seagulls hooker Jayden Berrell leads the count - alongside Ipswich Jets gun Nat Neale - for the amount of Team of the Week appearances so far this season.

              • In our Jersey Flegg team we have a player named Jayden Yates coming through. Never watched him play but he is now starting at 9 over Kyle Schieder who was seen as a speicial player.
