Tyrone May has announced he is coming back to Australia in 2024, telling Catalan he is leaving. Rumour was Canterbury was his destination, though heard nothing and Dogs signed Salmon in the meantime, you would think that would have been May's role as a 14. Unless they saw him as a 6.
Anyway the club being mentioned is not named, i heard a tiny rumour we could be looking but the source is not too reliable so it is a we'll see type of thing. Anyway, would you take him as a 14? He is doing well in ESL, a lot of assists. Can play Five-Eighth, Centre, Lock, Second-Row, could perhaps even put him at Hooker for a little bit. He has that bit of 'prick' in him which we lack, he's won a premiership and is still reletively young in age.
I think if we did sign May, it would be shrewd business.

Going to penrith. That's y salmon has left.
I see that makes a lot of sense.
But May would fit as a 14 being able to cover more positions than Hands.
Though i do think BA will move towards a two hooker system, he used it every year until he started Mahoney. Had Peats & De Gois, King & Pritchard now Lussick & Hands.
He is v good mates with Cleary and co. I am sure he will be back in the area.....
he was a problem at the panthers, we dont need that in our team
