Two Eels selected in Australia squad

Mitchell Moses and Zac Lomax have both been selected for Australia for the Pacific Championships. Good on both players who will make their debut, with Moses in line to be the starting Halfback with DCE not selected. It is an achievement, will do wonders for his game. First Parramatta Halfback since Peter Sterling to be selected for Australia.

    Also 2 NRLW players selected for the Jillaroos. Mahalia Murphy and Abbi Church.

    Church has had a breakout year for the NRLW side. She was a decent centre but has gone to a new level as a fullback and won the Dally M fullback of the year award.

"I dont think the 17 named have perfromed well across the ffirst 2 games and theyre getting a 3rd test.
If Kev thinks theyre clearly the best 17 for the job then so be it, but some of the selections couldve been argued to be pretty borderline going…"
